UFC 115 Preview: Heavyweight bout – Ben Rothwell vs. Gilbert Yvel
Ben Rothwell and Gilbert Yvel will fight in a Heavyweight matchup at the upcoming UFC 115 event. These two fighters are extremely experienced and are expected to put together a very good battle.
Yvel has already fought in an incredible 52 professional fights to this point in his career. Although he is very experienced in mixed martial arts in general he is not experienced in the UFC. His last fight was his debut in the UFC. He lost to Junior dos Santos in a TKO in the first round in his last fight. This is an important match for Yvel as he hopes to prove that he belongs in the UFC and that he can continue to fight at a high level.
Bary missed his last assignment due to the flue, but he is ready to begin fighting again. His UFC debut was also a recent event. He lost his debut by TKO in the 2nd round of UFC 104 against Cain Velasquez.
This fight will be extremely important for both fighters. Although they each have experience, neither one wants to lose their first two UFC bouts that they are given. A bad loss for either one of these could limit his UFC career.
With pride on the line expect each of these fighters to show up. Both have won at least 30 fights in their career and they both know how to win fights. Each of these fighters has struggled recently, but had great streaks before their struggle. Yvel recently had a 7 match win streak, while Rothwell had won 13 matches consecutively recently.
